Dear Members of the Class of 1967,
The teachers, students, parents, and I are looking forward to
our celebration this coming Sunday here at St. Anne School. We
will be starting off the day's celebration with Mass at 10:30
in our church. As one of our graduates said a few years back when
he heard we were starting off with Mass, "I am not sure if
you want me there. I haven't been in a church since I left St.
Anne School." The good news is that he did come and the walls
did not crumble around us. I would like to ask you to gather in
the vestibule of the church at 10:15. We will have name cards
for our graduates from the class of 1967. Your class will be processing
in and will be sitting in a special section of the church. Spouses
etc. are welcome to process in with you or they can be seated
before Mass begins in that cordoned off section if they wish.
At the end of Mass, our pastor, Fr. Dan Nascimento, will be handing
out a Golden Diploma to you. Following the Mass the school will
be open for all alum and all school families to visit classrooms
etc. The library will have a few pieces of memorabilia laid out
for you to enjoy. If any of you have something that you would
like to share, please feel free to bring it along. Be sure to
have your name on that item, however.
At 1:00 the Open House ends and we will have a special lunch for you and your guest(s) in
the cafeteria. I look forward to welcoming you back to your grammar school this
Sunday. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give
me a call or email me. The number is the same -
415-664-7977 and
my email is white@stanne.com.
